Determining the Cisco Router Memory Configuration

Occasionally, we may get assigned tasks to upgrade the memory capacity for Cisco routers. The first very dumb but good question is what is/are currently installed. Let's say the current memory installed is 128MB and we would like to upgrade it to 256MB, it is a single 128MB memory module or a pair of 64MB memory modules? What!?! You need to open it up and look for it?!? Are you telling me no command to check this? ~!@#$%^&*()

Note: I have found that the show c2600 command on some older IOS releases, eg: 12.2 releases doesn't show the DIMM information section. If you are running such IOS releases, you are out of luck. :-)
Talk to the customer to at least have a short downtime to upgrade to 12.3 releases, still better than powering off and opening up the router. :-)
